Optimum Polymer (OP) Drill

Drilling Fluid Additives Partially Hydrolyzed Poly-Acrylamide

Polymers, defined as large molecules comprised of small, identical recurring units, are widely used in water-based muds. OP Drill are known as PHPA, HPAM in drilling application.

OP Drill Visocosifier & Shale Inhibitor Category

OP Drill Visocosifier and Shale Inhibitor re polyacrylamide based polymer, which could provide excellent viscosity and suspension properties in all water based mud systems . These series products are an additive for drilling fields that can be used to inhibit shale hydration expansion and dispersion, and prevent wellbore collapse. Small molecular quaternary ammonium salt can enter the interlayer of clay crystal, and enables an excellent shale inhibition performance.

  • Similar low-sheer-rate viscosities at lower concentration levels
  • lower plastic viscosities and yield point
  • lower ECD, pressure loss, and free-spin pressures in coiled tubing operations
  • more resistance to thermal degradation while tolerating cement and higher pH.

OP Drill Parameters

Case Study

OP Drill visocosifier has been widely used in the domestic and oversea market. Here attached properties Index for a general understanding of OP Drill series product.
